Director of Information Technologies
Michael Cox, Director of Information Technologies, has been with The Siegel Group since 2009 and oversees an IT Department responsible for coordinating the technical needs of the firm’s real estate and business portfolio in Nevada, Arizona, California, and New Mexico. Under Mr. Cox’s leadership, the IT Department provides mission critical applications for the firm’s many affiliated businesses, including email, point of sale, property management system, and account systems. Mr. Cox ensures that the firm and its affiliated entities adhere to government and industrial IT compliance requirements and standards, including PCI-DSS and is responsible for hiring, training, and managing IT staff and third-party vendors.
Prior to joining The Siegel Group, Mr. Cox was the founder of a mobile computer service company which he grew to include over 1,000 clients and a small team of technicians before ultimately selling the business. Mr. Cox holds a number of IT certifications including from such companies as Cisco, Microsoft, and Comptia. Mr. Cox and his wife have 4 children and is active in the community, previously serving on the board of directors of the DCS Foundation (a Las Vegas based 501(c)(3) nonprofit) and as a clerical officer with his Church.
