Typically, investment projects are sought in the western and southern areas of the United States. Most projects are “eyesores” which are in need of extensive exterior and interior rehabilitation or deferred maintenance due to poor management, maintenance and over-all property up-keep. usually these types of properties have additional value-added potential through occupancy increase and stabilization. Projects with repositioning or expansion potential are other typical projects.
